Introducing the Sinclair Chair: Fiona Sinclair’s Gift to VCV Members

Each year at VISCON, we gather to celebrate the creative chaos, clever thinking, and unmatched dedication of VCD teachers across the state. This year, one extra seat will be saved—thanks to the generosity of someone very special.

Our long-serving and much-loved Education Officer, Fiona Sinclair, has left us with one final parting gift: The Sinclair Chair.

This annually sponsored ticket to VISCON will be awarded to a teacher from either a regional or low SES school, or a first year teacher—someone who might not otherwise have the chance to attend. The Sinclair Chair is a small but mighty tribute to Fiona’s legacy of kindness, equity, and unwavering belief in the power of professional learning.
