2024 VCV Design Industry Professionals Resource

The design industry professionals from the four design fields - Environments, Interactive Experiences, Messages and Objects speak to the Unit 3 Outcome 1 Professional Design Practice Key Knowledge and Skills.

Students will be inspired by and learn about the design process of an Interior Designer, Web Designer, Communication Designer and Industrial designer. There is a strong focus on social and environmental impact through the design processes and design briefs of the four presentations.

There is reference to divergent and convergent thinking, human centred design, sustainability and Intellectual Property in addition to discussions on the design processes, materials and methods used and collaborations with other designers throughout various design briefs.

The inclusion of AI as a research tool is mentioned by each of the designers and how this is incorporated in to their design process.
